Duplicate Link Checker (PRO)

Updated over a week ago

With our Duplicate Link Checker, you can instantly see how often the same URL appears in a Bookmarks widget or group. Just click the number next to a link to view and manage all its duplicates.

How it works

To prevent duplicate links in a Bookmarks widget or group, PRO users have the Duplicate Link Checker enabled by default. Identical links within the same widget are marked with a counter. A warning appears if you try to add a duplicate link.

Disable the Duplicate Link Checker

For PRO users, the Duplicate Link Checker is enabled by default. You can disable it in the Settings menu.

Instructions

  1. Open the user menu by clicking the profile icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Find the Show duplicate links option and toggle it off or on.

When a link appears more than once in a Bookmarks widget or group, a counter will appear next to its title showing the number of instances.

Duplicate Link Options

When a duplicate bookmark is detected, you can click the number next to the link to open a pop-up listing all duplicates.

Available options:

Edit bookmark – Opens the Edit pane, where you can update the title, URL, or description. You can also change the icon, or choose to duplicate, move, or delete the bookmark.
Delete bookmark – Quickly remove the bookmark. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
