How can I prevent from having to log in each time I open Firefox?
How can I prevent from having to log in each time I open Firefox?
Updated over 7 months ago

Browsers like Firefox give the option to delete cookies automatically. If you do this, Start.me won't be able to recognize you as a returning user, and will ask you to log in again. To stop this from happening, you can whitelist Start.me, so our cookie won't be deleted.

Instructions

  1. Click the Menu icon, and select Settings.

  2. Go to the Privacy & Security tab under Options, or type about:preferences#privacy in the address bar.

  3. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data and click Manage exceptions.

  4. In the Address of website field, type "https://start.me" and Save Changes.

You can safely select Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed. You shouldn't be required to log in again.
