Start.me keeps you signed in using a cookie stored in your browser. If that cookie gets deleted — either by you, your browser, or a cleanup tool — you'll need to log in again. Here's how to prevent it for each browser.
Google Chrome
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) > Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.
Under Sites allowed to use third-party cookies, click Add.

Microsoft Edge
Click the three-dot menu (…) > Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
Scroll to Choose what to clear every time you close the browser.
Under Cookies and other site data, click Add next to Don't clear.
Enter
start.meand click Add.
Mozilla Firefox
Click the hamburger menu (☰) > Settings > Privacy & Security.
Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Exceptions.
Enter
https://start.meand click Allow.Click Save Changes.
Also make sure "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked in the same section.
Safari (Mac)
Open Safari > Settings > Advanced.
Make sure "Block all cookies" is unchecked.
Common causes of unexpected logouts
Browser cleanup tools (like CCleaner) that delete cookies automatically.
Privacy extensions that block or clear cookies on every visit.
Incognito/private mode — cookies are deleted when the window closes.
Browser set to clear data on close — check your browser's "on close" settings.
