Export Bookmarks & Feeds

Export your bookmarks as an HTML file and your RSS feeds as an OPML file.

With start.me you can export all your bookmarks and RSS feeds at any time. Looking for notes? See Export and Import Notes.

Instructions to export bookmarks

  1. Click the User icon in the top right corner of your window.

  2. Click Account details to open the Account menu.

  3. Select the option Data > Exports.

  4. Now you can select the pages you want to export. This list includes all archived pages. The columns show how many bookmarks, feeds, and notes each page holds.

  5. Click the Export button in the top right corner and choose Export bookmarks.

start.me will now open a new tab: My exports. Here you can see the progress of your latest exports. You also find a download link to the HTML file when the export is ready. Click Download to save your bookmarks.

Instructions to export RSS feeds

  1. Click the User icon in the top right corner of your window.

  2. Click Account details to open the Account menu.

  3. Select the option Data > Exports.

  4. Select the pages you want to export the News widgets from. The feeds column shows how many feed widgets each page holds, and you can see the date each page was last changed.

  5. Click the Export button in the top right corner and choose Export feeds.

start.me will now open the My exports tab of your Export data page. Here you can see the progress of your latest exports. You also find a download link to the OPML-file when the export is ready. Once ready, you've got 48 hours to download your data, and store it locally or wherever you want to.

Import your data

You can use this feature to make a regular backup of your bookmarks and feeds or to upload and transfer this information to another browser or newsreader.

With start.me your data will always be yours.
