Firefox does not allow extensions to set a remote webpage as the New Tab page directly. This means the Start.me New Tab extension cannot work in Firefox the way it does in Chrome or Edge.
The recommended solution is to use the free New Tab Override add-on, which lets you point the New Tab page to any URL — including Start.me.
Set up Start.me as your New Tab page
Install the add-on New Tab Override from Firefox Add-ons.
In the add-on settings, set https://start.me as your New Tab page URL.
Grant the extension permission to set the New Tab page to Start.me.
Done! Every new tab now opens Start.me.
Optional: Install the Bookmarker add-on
To quickly save any page to Start.me from Firefox, install the Bookmarker add-on for Firefox. This adds a toolbar button that lets you save bookmarks to your Start.me Inbox with one click.
