Every start page has its own settings. You can change the title, background, column layout, and page-specific preferences. Changes are saved automatically (except on the General tab, where you click Done).
How to Open Page Settings
Click the pencil icon in the page header, then select Page settings.
Or right-click on the page tab and select Page settings.
The settings modal has four tabs: General, Background, Columns, and Preferences.
General
Page title - Give your page a name (up to 50 characters). Click the smiley icon to add an emoji.
Description - Add a short description for your page. PRO users can click Auto-generate to let AI create one based on the page content.
Belongs to - Move the page between your personal account and any team you manage.
Archive page - Hide the page from your main page list. You can restore it later. Archiving is a PRO feature.
Background
Personalize the look of your page by choosing a background and adjusting widget transparency.
Default backgrounds - Pick from our collection of backgrounds. Click one to apply it instantly.
Upload your own - Click the + icon to upload a custom background image.
Select color - Use a solid color instead of an image.
Widget transparency - Move the slider to make your widgets more transparent, so the background shows through.
Reset background - Return the page to its default look.
Columns
Control how your page is divided into columns.
Number of columns - Choose between 1 and 7 columns.
Column size - Set each column's width independently, from small to extra large. Sizes are relative to each other.
Drag to resize - You can also resize columns directly on the page by dragging the border between two columns.
Preferences
These settings override your account-wide User Preferences for this specific page.
Page Intro - Toggle on to show a welcome banner at the top of the page with the page title and description.
Page Analytics - Track how many views your page gets. For personal pages this is a PRO feature. Team pages follow the team plan.
Search bar (PRO) - Choose to show or hide the search bar on this page, or leave it on Auto to follow your User Preferences.
Open links - Choose whether bookmarks open in a new browser tab or the same tab. Auto follows your User Preferences.
