If you have more than one start page, you may want to decide the start page you want loaded by default.
For example, if you have one start.me page for work, and one for home, you can switch them whenever you finish your shift.
Instructions:
1. Quick solution [back to top]
2. Chrome extension [back to top]
Instructions:
- Make sure you install the start.me extension. You will see the start.me logo appear in your browser.
- Once you've located the start.me logo, click it to open a dialog.
- Click Options.
- Now you'll see a pop-up. From the dropdown menu Select your new tab page, select the page you prefer.
This extension works in Chrome, as well as in Chromium-based browsers, like our partners: the Iron browser, Kinza, Torch, Vivaldi, and the Craving Explorer.
3. Firefox Add-On [back to top]
Instructions:
- Make sure you install the Firefox start.me Add-On. You will see the start.me logo appear in your browser.
- Once you've located the start.me logo, right-click it to open a dialog.
- Click Manage Extension.
- Now you'll see the Firefox Add-On area, where you can manage your start.me add-on. Select the second tab Options.
- Under My start.me homepage, in the dropdown menu, select the page you want used as your homepage.
- Close the tab to save and implement your preference.
This extension works in Firefox, as well as in Firefox-based browsers, unless they don't allow the installation of Firefox Add-Ons. Our partner browser Pale moon does not permit this.
4. Edge extension [back to top]
Instructions
- Make sure you install the start.me extension. You will see the start.me logo appear in your browser.
- Once you've located the start.me logo, right-click it to open a dialog.
- Click Extension Options.
- Now you'll see a pop-up. From the dropdown menu Which page do you want to use as your homepage?, select the page you prefer.
- Click the X in the top right corner of your pop-up to save and implement your preference.
This extension works in Chrome, as well as in Chromium-based browsers, like our partners: the Iron browser, Kinza, Torch, and the Craving Explorer.
5. Other browsers [back to top]
If you want to quickly change the default homepage in other browsers like Safari or Internet Explorer, we can't help you with a dedicated extension or add-on. You can use the Quick solution mentioned above.
We don't recommend using the On startup or Homepage settings of these browsers to change your default start.me page, as it may result in an error message.
