With our bookmarklet, you can add quickly add new bookmarks to your start.me page from your smartphone.
Note: Android users can install our Android app to get the same functionality. For iPhone users, we recommend our iPhone app.

1. Quick installation (all devices) [back to top]
The easiest way to get your bookmarklet on your mobile device, is by using the sync option of your browser. We've tested Safari and Google Chrome.
Instructions:
- Open this page in your desktop or laptop computer.
- Drag and drop the following icon to the Bookmarks bar (Google Chrome) or the Favourites bar (Safari) of your browser.
- The new bookmarklet should appear automatically in your mobile browser.
- Safari: tap the Open book icon and look for Favourites.
- Google Chrome: Tap the Overflow icon (Three dots), select Bookmarks and locate the Bookmarks bar.
- The next time you've discovered a new page you want to save, just tap the bookmarklet (iOS), or open the bookmarklet in the address bar (Android).
2. Install bookmarklet in Android phones or tablets (Google Chrome) [back to top]
Instructions:
- Select and copy the following code:
- Make a new bookmark: tap the Overflow menu button.
- Next, hit the star to create a new bookmark.
- Now, tap the starred bookmark again, to start editing it.
- Change the Name to: Add to start.me.
- Remove URL and paste the JavaScript code in your Clipboard.
- Press back to continue. Google Chrome will save your changes.
Now, the next time you've discovered a website you want to save to your start.me page, you can use the bookmarklet. While on a page you like, go to the address bar and search for the bookmarklet. Once you've found it, press enter to run it.
The bookmarklet doesn't work by tapping it in the list of bookmarks.
3. Install bookmarklet in iPhones or iPads (Google Chrome) [back to top]
Instructions:
- Select and copy the following code:
- Tap the Share icon in the address bar.
- Tap Bookmark.
- Edit the bookmark you've just made.
- Change the name to Add to start.me.
- In the URL field, tap the x to remove the original HTML link. Now tap and hold until you can Paste the JavaScript code.
- Tap Done to continue.
Now, the next time you've discovered a website you want to save to your start.me page, you can click the bookmarklet.
4. Install bookmarklet in iPhones or iPads (Safari) [back to top]
Instructions:
- Copy the following code:
- Tap Share.
- Add Bookmark
- Change the name of your bookmark to Add to start.me, and click Done to confirm.
- Click the Bookmarks icon and locate the Bookmark you've just made.
- Once you've located the bookmark, tap and hold it. Then tap Edit.
- Now you can remove the URL and replace it with the JavaScript code.
Paste, and then tap Favourites. - Click Done to confirm.
Now, the next time you've discovered a website you want to save to your start.me page, you can click the bookmarklet.
5. Use the bookmarklet [back to top]
Instructions for Android phone and tablet:
- Open any website you want to save to start.me.

Go to the address bar and start typing the name of the bookmarklet you've just made (we suggested "Add to start.me").

Once you discover the book in the search suggestions, click it to run the JavaScript and add your bookmark.
Instructions for iPhone and iPad:
- Tap the bookmarks icon at the bottom of your screen
- Locate the bookmarklet and tap it.
You may have to log into your start.me account to save your bookmark. You can decide the exact destination widget for your new bookmark, as well as the name. Click Add bookmark to confirm.
