What is the Pomodoro Timer?
The Pomodoro Timer widget helps you stay focused using the Pomodoro Technique. It cycles through focused work sessions and breaks, all within a widget on your start page.
How It Works
The timer has three phases:
Pomodoro (25 minutes) - a focused work session
Short break (5 minutes) - a quick rest between sessions
Long break (15 minutes) - a longer rest after every 4 completed pomodoros
When a phase ends, the timer automatically moves to the next one. After every 4 focus sessions, you get a long break instead of a short one.
Controls
Tabs - Switch between Pomodoro, Short Break, and Long Break manually
Start / Pause - Start or pause the current timer
Skip - Skip the current phase and jump to the next one (only visible while the timer is running)
A session counter (#1, #2, #3...) tracks how many pomodoros you have completed.
Display Settings
You can change the widget height from the widget menu:
Small - compact view
Medium - default size
Large - more breathing room
You can also set a custom background color. The default is a warm red.
