Pomodoro Timer Widget

A built-in focus timer using the Pomodoro Technique. Alternate between 25-minute focus sessions and short or long breaks.

What is the Pomodoro Timer?

The Pomodoro Timer widget helps you stay focused using the Pomodoro Technique. It cycles through focused work sessions and breaks, all within a widget on your start page.

How It Works

The timer has three phases:

  • Pomodoro (25 minutes) - a focused work session

  • Short break (5 minutes) - a quick rest between sessions

  • Long break (15 minutes) - a longer rest after every 4 completed pomodoros

When a phase ends, the timer automatically moves to the next one. After every 4 focus sessions, you get a long break instead of a short one.

Controls

  • Tabs - Switch between Pomodoro, Short Break, and Long Break manually

  • Start / Pause - Start or pause the current timer

  • Skip - Skip the current phase and jump to the next one (only visible while the timer is running)

A session counter (#1, #2, #3...) tracks how many pomodoros you have completed.

Display Settings

You can change the widget height from the widget menu:

  • Small - compact view

  • Medium - default size

  • Large - more breathing room

You can also set a custom background color. The default is a warm red.
